With a career in investor relations and financial communications spanning more than 30 years, Pat Watson specializes in helping companies articulate strategic messages for investors and other constituencies through effective press releases, persuasive presentations and the production of award-winning annual reports. He has worked with clients across the country and offshore in various industries, including banks, insurance and reinsurance, retail and restaurants, hospitals and surgery centers, REITs, manufacturing, trucking, and publishing.

Fundamentally, Pat assists clients with building and implementing compelling, credible investor relations programs that include disciplined outreach to analysts and institutional investors. His experience also includes pre-IPO planning preparation, transaction communications and other uncommon and challenging IR topics.

Pat is a Certified Public Accountant (Inactive) and a member of the AICPA. Prior to joining Corporate Communications in 1983, he was treasurer of Thomas Nelson, Inc. in Nashville, Tennessee. He previously was a senior auditor with Touche Ross & Co., a predecessor of Deloitte LLP. Pat graduated from the University of Tennessee with a BA degree in accounting and received his MBA degree from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University.
